Aquasziget’s Wellness World, covering nearly 1000 square meters, provides complete relaxation and refreshment with special attention and exclusive services. Our wellness world, including the sauna area, is located on the upper floor.
The majority of the sauna area is naturist (Finnish Sauna, Herbal Sauna, Sound and Light Therapy Sauna, Steam Cabin, Kneipp Treading Pool, Relaxation Whirlpool, Cork Relaxation Room). Sauna towels are provided for guests. In this area, according to the rules of healthy sauna use, saunas and steam cabins cannot be used in swimwear. The Rose Sauna (upstairs) and the Infrared Sauna (ground floor) are exceptions and can be used in swimwear.
Finnish Sauna The Finnish sauna is a high-temperature sauna, ranging from 80-90 °C, with low humidity. It stimulates blood circulation, trains the heart and lungs, and strengthens the immune system. Pores expand during use, allowing toxins to easily exit through sweating. It has a stress-relieving and detoxifying effect. It promotes good metabolic function, thus acting as an immune booster. It softens and tightens the skin, excellent for skin cleansing.
Herbal Sauna An 80 °C sauna with low humidity. It has a beneficial effect on our respiratory organs, especially when combined with aromatherapy. It strengthens the immune system and has detoxifying effects.
Sound and Light Sauna A sauna with a temperature of 60 °C. It can be useful and enjoyable for those who find higher-temperature saunas too demanding. It can be a suitable step for sauna novices before experiencing the Finnish sauna. We enhance the beneficial effects of sauna with various colored light tubes and color therapy. Colors evoke different moods and have healing effects on various energy centers.
Steam Cabin In the steam cabin, unlike the sauna, the temperature is lower, and the humidity is higher. The temperature typically ranges from 43-46 °C, and humidity can reach 100%. At around 45°C and 100% relative humidity, the body heats up more slowly. Steam in the cabin pleasantly moisturizes the skin. Steam baths are an excellent choice for those with respiratory problems, such as asthma or allergies.
Kneipp Treading Pool The Kneipp pool contains water at 14-16°C, with rounded stones on the bottom. Walking on the stones gently massages the reflex zones of the soles, strengthens the supporting muscles, and improves blood circulation.
Japanese Pool A 29-31 °C relaxation whirlpool. After sauna, during the cooling phase, it helps the body cool down slowly. It refreshes and relaxes. Shower use is mandatory before use.
Rose Sauna (Swimwear Required) A 75 °C sauna with low humidity.
Infrared Sauna (Located in the Pool Area on the Ground Floor) Unlike traditional saunas, the infrared sauna does not heat the sauna air but heats the body using infrared rays, causing the body to sweat at a lower temperature, providing a more profound effect. Infrared rays penetrate 1 cm deep into the skin, where they loosen toxins and impurities beneath the skin before releasing them through sweat glands. Children, the elderly, and those with cardiovascular problems can also use it.
